Employment at Futures

Philadelphia Futures' mission is to provide low-income, first-generation-to-college students with the tools, resources and opportunities necessary for admission to and success in college. Our direct service programs, Sponsor-A-Scholar (SAS) and College Connection, provide academic enrichment, college guidance, and a range of other services for promising high school students attending Philadelphia’s public, charter, and parochial high schools.

In 2011 White-Williams Scholars - with a 200 year history of serving students living in poverty - and Philadelphia Futures - with a 23 year track record of helping Philadelphia students enter and succeed in college - merged. Following the merger, the organization undertook a strategic planning process. The Plan that emerged reaffirmed the strength of our work and identified areas for smart growth.
