For Educators

Overview

SAS Educators

A student’s success in the Philadelphia Futures Sponsor-A-Scholar (SAS) Program often begins with the teacher or counselor who recognizes the student’s promise and potential, and acts on it!

SAS recruits students who are motivated to achieve in high school and who share the dream of a college education. We work closely with designated neighborhood high schools in the School District of Philadelphia, and we rely on our partner teachers and counselors who routinely nominate promising and deserving students for participation in the SAS Program.
